As the President and Managing Partner of AJC, Frank has provided visionary leadership to the firm for over 30 years. Under his expert guidance, AJC has achieved steady, organic, double-digit growth for the past 20 years, and the firm has expanded from 5-6 associates when he joined in 1988 to approximately 80 associates in 2023. He is very proud that the firm serves a high-quality portfolio of clients, many of whom have been with AJC for decades and have grown their businesses with year-round support from the talented tax, audit, and assurance teams at AJC. As a high school student, he considered careers in engineering and accounting because of his aptitude for math, but ultimately knew he wanted a job with a lot of people interaction – and accounting was a great fit for that mandatory requirement. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from VCU and also holds a master’s degree from VCU in business administration. His first employer after college was the firm’s founder, Stan Adams, who set the standard for delivering exceptional performance to clients within a family-oriented culture that AJC continues to embrace to this day. Frank’s passion to give back to others launched his longtime support of events and activities that benefit nonprofits including Special Olympics, the Bone Frog Open honoring fallen Navy SEALs, and ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation, to name a few. Throughout the year, he provides leadership to engage AJC team members in a variety of team-building initiatives to rally around these and other philanthropic interests. During his off-work hours, he enjoys playing golf with colleagues and clients. He and his family have a place at Lake Gaston, where he unwinds by wake-surfing behind their boat along with jet skiing, paddleboarding and other fun water-related activities.
